《英美国家社会与文化教程》是北京交通大学“国家级精品资源共享课”《大学英语——英美文化》的配套教材，共11个单元。单元大致按从具体到抽象、从显性到隐性的顺序排列，通过对英美国家社会与文化概况如文化基本概念、风土与人情、政治与制度、医疗与卫生、家庭与教育、媒介与娱乐、语言与文学、科学与伦理、宗教与信仰等的介绍与辨析，使读者加深对英美文化的认识，洞悉中西文化差异，拓宽国际视野，提高跨文化交际能力。本教程适用于英语与非英语专业的本科生、出国留学生、涉外工作人员等。
