This book is a collection of all major articles by the author over the last twenty years regarding education in Tibet. It is in three parts: Part One consists of 20 research reports written on the basis of site investigations regarding the general state of education in Tibet at the turn of the century. Part Two contains 16 research papers on the evolution of educational thoughts in Tibet. Part Three showcases the original records made by the author during the process of his site investigations, revealing the regional differences in educational development in Tibet.
