The specialized reference book of "The Illustrated Seeds of Chinese Medicinal Plants", written by Professor Qiaosheng Guo working in Nanjing Agricultural University, published by Higher Education Press. Though colorful photos, over 400 kinds of the seeds or fruit of the common medicinal plant in China were selected and classifi ed by the order of family and genus. The photos comprise the pictures of the group, facade, side, crosscut and the anatomy shaping in embryo of the seeds, together with the pictures of the seeds, which have similarity in genetics. In addition, the photos with simple characters in confi guration and physiology property are also described. The content is original and has included the pictures and characters. It will give a reference to the researchers and teachers who have been conducting Chinese Medicine and medicinal plants.
